Handmade heaters
Most sauna heaters are crafted by Marcus. Some by Victor. A few by Anders. All of them live in Pajala, in the heart of Tornedalen. They put their heart and soul into every single heater. Why? They themselves were raised in the embracing steam of Pajala Sauna.
Our sauna manifesto
In the heartlands of Pajala and Tornedalen, the sauna is more than a tradition; it’s the lifeblood of the community.
This sacred space has witnessed the first breaths of newborns and swaddled countless generations in warmth. Here, toddlers splash in basins set upon the floor, adolescents ascend to claim their spot on the first bench, and ultimately, adults share the uppermost seat with their elders, savoring the initiation of the next generation with a shared sip of beer.
Through the sauna, life’s journey is mirrored from the innocence of birth to the finality of death. Such has been the unwavering tradition. It stands as a sanctuary of steam, wood, and perspiration a place where tranquility, pleasure, and fellowship are devoutly celebrated. Here, we find everything that matters, everything that’s real a testament to the authentic essence of our existence.
No fuss
We don’t bother with WiFi, Bluetooth, IoT, or AI. Let others be the experts in that. After 60 years in the market, however, we can promise one heck of an amazing sauna experience.
Feel free to head out onto the internet, search for our name, and see what others are saying. We've lost count of how many people consider Pajala Sauna to be the best sauna heater in the world.
What makes a Pajala Sauna unique
-
The process
Pajala Sauna stands out from other electric heaters as it is equipped with a well-insulated mantle, a large stone compartment, and a lid. The combination of these components allows you to step into a lukewarm room, open the lid, and then gradually increase the perceived temperature by pouring water over the stones and being enveloped by the delightful steam that rises.
-
The experience
Moist heat is the key to genuine well-being. With Pajala Sauna, you won’t burn your backside on the benches or struggle to breathe from bone-dry air. Instead, you’ll easily control the temperature based on how much water you throw on the hot stones. The whole family will enjoy it and be able to sauna for a long time. You shouldn't compete in sauna sessions, just as you shouldn't compete in making love.

The quality
Developing heaters that last 30, 40, or even 50 years isn’t really a great business idea. The repurchase frequency is limited. But what does that matter, when we can sleep soundly at night knowing that Pajala Sauna brings immense enjoyment to all our customers, year after year?
