Pajala Sauna is developed, manufactured, and sold by Pajala Welders, from, you guessed it, Pajala. This small town is located in Tornedalen, just about an hour’s jog from the Finnish border, where saunas have been a tradition since time immemorial. Tornedalians know what a real winter is like. It’s long, raw, endlessly cold, and absolutely, absolutely wonderful—largely thanks to the sauna being a natural part of our daily life. Pajala Sauna has been on the market since the 1960s. In February 2024, Pajala Welders took over the baton and swore an oath to carefully preserve this product and brand heritage. You can read more about Pajala Welders here.
